I have also found some strings that generate into the 1 digit seeds to show they are not broken ( doc). The 1 character numerical seeds should generate a world with that seed, and the other 1 character seeds should be the same each time, that is the bug in its simplest form. Here is an example with the seed "1" entered on Windows 10 (out of beta): Minecraft 07-37-20.mp4 Since the cutoff point for the random seed appears to be U+0080, I imagine there is some accidentally incorrect conversions between unicode and ascii in the number parser for the seed box, as this is the ascii cutoff point, I find it interesting that it's also still broken with a minus sign in front of the other character. I also tested the seed 1 on android (in the beta for 1.11) and it generated randomly. I have tested the following seeds (without quotation marks) on Windows 10 (out of beta) and they didn't generate randomly (expected behaviour): "ab", "☺" (U+263A), "ÿ". I have not tested any other platforms, but I imagine the bug also exists on all of the platforms.Īlso note, both platforms were 64bit, so it may not be broken on 32bit machines, but my Windows 10 machine was 圆4 (intel), and my android device was 64bit ARM (exynos), so I find that unlikely as it seems to work on 2 different processors on 2 different platforms already. I can confirm this bug exists for both the Windows 10 Edition (out of beta) and the Android version (in beta). This is also still broken when a '-' character (minus sign) is inserted in front of the first character. If you would like to find those types of structures, do it yourself or use another seed. When a 1 character seed (where the codepoint is less than U+0080) is entered into the seed box, and the world is generated, the world will instead use a new random seed each time. Also because I didn't add very many village, temple, etc coordinates either, because although they're cool, I really just wanted to put this together because a builder like myself likes to build random houses in every biome. That's my list, note that this might not be super convenient for the survival players unless you use tp/waypoints. Land of Lakes: 1570 64 -1809 (Loveee this biome so had to include it, also its very large) Sacred Springs: 4822 69 -1027 (Large sacred springs biome!! sooo glad i found this gem) Orchard: 3374 66 -3201 (An orchard, forgot what's nearby.) Ominous Woods and Cherry Blossom: 4290 64 -6428 (Another great find, something so dark by something so pure.) Mystic Grove: 3625 65 -6237 (Mystic Grove and marsh area.) Overgrown Cliffs and Bamboo Forest: 10470 104 -2812 (Self explanatory, also I believe there's a rainforest biome nearby too. Lush Desert: 10988 63 -267 (Lush Desert beside a mesa and with a village nearby) Volcanic Island: 94 (Really large set of volcanic islands) Ice Spikes: 8(old biome and very small, but why not?)Ĭherry Blossom 1: 79 (mountian right beside cherry blossom forest. Tropical Island: -7944 71 -11368 (also pretty large) Origin Island: -11159 63 -9245 (seems like a large island) Some biome ids are one number off on the wiki so just experiment with it. I'll give the coordinates of the rarer biomes, if anyone wants anything else specific, try the biome finder (mine the ore in survival) or use /bop tpbiome. It's sort of an island, there's a long chain of land and biomes northeast of it. You'll spawn in the ocean right beside a Seasonal Forest. It's extremely convenient if you're using a waypoint mod like myself. so I've made it a priority to find them in one seed. It sounds large, but it really is difficult to get those extremely rare biomes. Alright, I found a seed (version 1.12.2!) with EVERY biome within a 13,000 block radius of spawn (Spawn coords: 265 65 -1086).
